Welcome to Purple Hat Photo.
I have been making photos since I was a small child (1970 if you are counting) using a variety of tools as simple as matchbox-pinhole and as complex as a modern DSLR.
I am coming out of semi retirement for a much welcomed career change thanks to the world economy being broken and weird.
You will find a very rough sampling of my photos here, tutorials (what good is knowledge if you keep it locked up in your own head, it will never be improved by interacting with someone else's knowledge), rants, raves, reviews, and anything else that I feel like posting here.
There will likely not be prints for sale here given the number of options available that take care of the more difficult parts of processing payments, though that is not entirely out of the question in the future.
My experience so far has been just about as varied as my gear, and a number of examples still grace walls throughout the USA for certain and possibly much farther from home for all I know.
My current gear consists of: (in n o order)
Canon-Tx 35mm SLR (marketed in the US by Bell and Howell/Sears)
Canon powershot sd550 (advanced point and shoot in its day)
Pentax K-X (DSLR)
Yashica-D TLR 120mm medium format
Cirroflex TLR 120mm
Rollei SL35E 35mm SLR
and a collection of other P&S or PHD film cameras by names such as Pentax, Rollei, Vivitar, etc.
